Lake Forest College Mock Trial

What We Do

Collegiate Mock Trial allows for students to read, take part in, and understand the procedures of an actual trial. Students receive a case at the beginning of the year and spend the following time preparing both plaintiff and defense cases, including: witnesses, direct and cross examinations, and opening and closing statements. The process fosters an interactive learning environment with the side benefits of public speaking and team work, culminating in an undergraduate competition the following February against other colleges.

Welcome to the official website of the Lake Forest College Mock Trial team! Currently, our team is ranked in the top 20 in the nation—that's top 20 out of more than 600 other teams across the continental United States.
